5 Questions with Savannah Higgins: Community Manager at The Post

Chelle Peterson

We’re beyond thrilled to have Savannah Higgins on our team here at The Post as our incredible Community Manager.

And for those who might not have met her, we sat down with her for a quick Q&A session so that our amazing members can get to know her a little better.

1. How did you come to join the team at The Post?

“I relocated to Tucson from Florida in August of this year. When I got here, I wanted to find a job where I could get hands-on with helping to manage a business. I came across the opportunity for the Community Manager role here at The Post and knew I had to apply. It was exactly what I was looking for and I had the skillset that Dan and Chelle were looking for.”

2. What’s your professional background?

“I got my degree in Business Administration and spent most of my career working in social media. Most recently, I was working in social media for a small startup in Florida before moving to Tucson. But I knew I wanted to move away from marketing as my primary focus and get deeper into the business side of things. That’s exactly what I’ve found here at The Post and I love it.”

3. As Community Manager at The Post, what’s your day-to-day look like?

“My day-to-day role at The Post really revolves primarily around supporting our members. I’m here to help them and to solve any problem that may arise. But I also get the opportunity to utilize some of my expertise and past experience by offering support on things like our social media channels as well.”

4. What’s your favorite thing about being at The Post?

“My favorite part of my job is absolutely being able to work with and support our members. I love finding ways to come up with solutions to challenges and help make sure people are getting the most out of every workday at The Post. I also really love that we have a very close-knit group of people here. My last few jobs have been with smaller companies that close-knit feel, so it’s not to have that same type of vibe, respect, and cooperation here. It’s been amazing to join a business with an atmosphere like the one we have here.”

5. When you’re not at The Post, what are you most likely doing?

“When I’m not working at The Post, you can probably find me doing yoga, exploring all the amazing things that Arizona has to offer, or biking on Tucson’s bike trails with my pup, Louis.”

If you’re a member at The Post and you haven’t had the opportunity to meet Savannah yet, feel free to stop by and say hello! She’s here to help make your experience the best it can be.
