August 9th is International Coworking Day and we want to celebrate.
Why?
Because we’ve seen the positive impact that flexible office spaces have on the professionals and organizations in our Tucson community and beyond—and we’re incredibly proud to be part of it.
In the spirit of International Coworking Day, here are seven reasons why we’re proud to serve Tucson’s professionals with flexible office space.
1. Building Community
One of our proudest accomplishments at The Post is the community here. It’s a group of like-minded people who want to connect, collaborate, and socialize on personal and professional levels.
The coworking community benefits for solopreneurs, satellite teams, and other professionals are many, with socialization, networking, and inspiration topping the list.
We build community at The Post in a few ways:
- Hosting organized events and networking opportunities
- Providing diverse workspaces, common areas, and lounges to independently meet and collaborate
- Fostering a welcoming environment between staff and members
- Facilitating connections between people
2. Supporting Growth and Scalability
The Post is a place you can really grow your business or organization. Our professional meeting spaces, productive work areas, and access to amenities and resources allow you to put in your best work to scale and grow.
Beyond that, we offer flexible contracts and a variety of membership options. So if you go from a solopreneur to a team of three or a small to midsize company, you can easily scale up between shared coworking spaces, dedicated desks, or private offices as needed.
You can also list The Post as your business address for a Google Business Profile to boost your online visibility. Check out our guide on Google compliance for a business address.
3. Helping Build Tucson’s Business Scene
By providing coworking space to the professional community in Tucson, we’re helping build Tucson’s business scene.
Tucson is the perfect city for start-up companies and entrepreneurs for a few reasons, including excellent support and resources (i.e., professional associations), a reasonable cost of living, and a strong professional community.
So as entrepreneurs and business owners continue to move to the city, they need places to work that foster innovation and creativity.
We see companies thrive right here at The Post and make it our mission to keep supporting this entrepreneurial scene in the city. We regularly host events with the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce and have partnered with StartUp Tucson in the past.
4. Providing Meeting Spaces
While technology makes it easier for remote teams to meet, it can’t replace a well-planned in-person meeting. Meeting face-to-face allows teams to foster effective collaboration and build a strong rapport.
And, if you work with clients and customers, coffee shops don’t cut it for professional meetings, and a productive workspace can present a strong and good first impression and help you build your professional image.
Our bookable meeting rooms accommodate groups of all sizes, up to 35 people, in a comfortable and functional space. We have A/V equipment, comfortable furnishings, and access to coffee, tea, snack, or catering options. Meeting rooms help take your gatherings to the next level, while also helping people avoid any painful Zoom fails.
5. Promoting Better Work-Life Balance
There’s always been a need for work-life balance, but the pandemic really shifted how we view it. Besides giving rise to new phenomena like flexible work guilt, our new hybrid and remote work schedules have created even more need for social interaction and community.
Coworking fills the gap for many people who work independently, providing a place to connect with others, which is good for mental health, achievement and success, and avoiding burnout.
Even the simple act of leaving home and going to a dedicated workspace can help you delineate work and home life, which supports healthy boundaries and positive work-life balance.
6. Creating a Space People Love
We want our members to love the place they work. And, we want to love working here, too! We’re grateful for this positive and uplifting place to come to every day. Our three pillars at The Post define everything we do to create a space people love to come to:
- Experience: Providing best-in-class service and a fun, positive, and uplifting environment.
- Freedom: Creating spaces where you have the freedom to get your best work done.
- Community: Offering opportunities to connect with a strong professional community through networking, learning, and collaboration.
7. Giving People a Unique Workspace in Tucson
