If there’s one thing we love about November in Tucson, it’s that the entire month is jam-packed with incredible events to attend.

Here are the 11 we’re most excited about. 

1. All Souls Procession

Date and Time: Sunday, November 7 at 6:00 p.m.

Location: MSA Annex, 267 S. Avenida del Convento

Cost: Free!

What’s going on: The All Souls Procession invites community members to express their grief and loss in a celebration that honors lost loved ones. The procession winds through Tucson’s west side, ending at MSA Annex with performances.

2. Trivia at the Brewery

Date and Time: Wednesday, November 3 at 6:00 p.m.

Location: MotoSonora Brewing Company, 1015 S. Park Ave.

Cost: Free to attend, drinks available for purchase

What’s going on: Test your wits and trivia knowledge with a refreshing beer at MotoSonora Brewing Company. You could even win a few fun prizes!

3. DUSK Music Festival

Date and Time: Saturday and Sunday, November 13 and 14, at 2:00 p.m.

Location: Jácome Plaza, 101 N. Stone Ave.e

Cost: Tickets starting at $65 (find tickets at the event website) 

What’s going on: If you’re looking for a music festival packed with big name artists, this is the one for you! Stop by to see the likes of Diplo, Jimmy Eat World, Duke Dumont, Porter Robinson, and more, live in concert! 

4. Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games

Date and Time: Friday, November 5, through Sunday, November 7

Location: Historic Rillito Park Race Track, 4502 N. First Ave.

Cost: Prices vary by day (check online for specifics)  

What’s going on: Get ready for some Celtic entertainment with music, food, arts and performances at this three-day celebration.

5. Beers and Bikes at Button Brew House

Date and Time: Saturdays, November 6 and 20, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. 

Location: Button Brew House, 6800 N. Camino Martin

Cost: Free to attend but bring money for beers and food 

What’s going on: If you love getting out for a ride on your bike and then rehydrating with some delicious beers, this event’s for you! Cyclists will meet at Button Brew House then head out along The Loop to 1912 Brewing Co. for a drink. There will be a food truck waiting for you on your return to Button! 

6. Tucson Comedy Arts Festival

Date and Time: November 10 through 13

Location: Tucson Improv Movement, 414 East 9th St

Cost: Tickets start at $3 each but vary per show (check online for dates, times, and prices) 

What’s going on: If you’re up for a good laugh and a great time, check out the Tucson Comedy Arts Festival which features some of the best improvisers, stand-up comics, and storytellers from the southwest and around the country. 

7. All Souls Day Party at Hotel Congress

Date and Time: Sunday, November 7, at 2:00 p.m.

Location: 311 E. Congress St.

Cost: Free to attend, but bring money for drinks

What’s going on: Celebrate All Souls Day with face painting, tasty bites, drinks and live beats on the Hotel Congress plaza! Hang out before the All Souls Procession while DJ Buttafly sets the vibe and spins all your favorite tunes, waiting for the food trucks and face painters to arrive.

8. Loft Film Fest

Location: The Loft Cinema, 3233 E. Speedway

Cost: Varies by show (check online)

What’s going on: The 11th annual Loft Film Fest will feature a selection of award-winning features and short films from festivals around the world such as Cannes and Sundance.

9. Sahuarita Chalk Art Festival

Date and Time: Saturday, November 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Location: Sahuarita Lake Park, 15466 S. Rancho Sahuarita Blvd.

Cost: Free!

What’s going on: If you hear chalk art and think of sidewalk scribbles, you’ve got it all wrong on this one. At the Sahuarita Chalk Art Festival, attendees have the opportunity to watch eight professional artists create original 6-foot murals based on themes from Sahuarita’s landscapes and wildlife, cultural inspirations, natural history and space.

10. Hockey and Hops

Date and Time: Saturday, November 13, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Location: Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave.

Cost: $50 per person

What’s going on: Eleven regional brewers will be in attendance at a Hockey and Hops event hosted by the Tucson Roadrunners before their game on Nov. 13. Tickets include access to the pre-game beer garden, 10 beer garden drink tickets, a Roadrunners shot glass and a ticket to the game. Proceeds from ticket sales go to the Tucson Roadrunners’ Roadrunners Give Back foundation.

11. Kevin Costner & Modern West – Tales from Yellowstone

Date and Time: Friday, November 5 at 8:00 PM

Location: AVA Amphitheater, 5655 W Valencia Rd

Cost: Free

What’s going on: You probably know who Kevin Costner is, but what you might not know is that, in addition to being an actor, he’s also in a band and they’ve put out four studio albums together. And if you’re a fan of the show Yellowstone, this is going to be right up your alley: coinciding with Costner’s star turn as John Dutton, the band released Tales from Yellowstone, a collection of songs written from the perspective of his character.
