That’s why we put together a list of common questions we get asked by professionals wanting their own Private Office or Dedicated Desk space at The Post

Depending on which category you fall into, you’ll likely have different factors to consider before you take the plunge into coworking. Keeping this in mind, we chose questions that would help you understand why coworking spaces can be immensely valuable as well as all the amenities and perks you need to consider to choose the right coworking space for you.

So, here are eight coworking FAQs answered!

General Coworking FAQs

Let’s start with some general information to help you understand the benefits of working from a coworking hub. Here are two of the most common questions people have when considering having their own flexible office space or dedicated desk.

Coworking FAQ 1: do coworking spaces help with productivity?

Many remote workers will agree that working remotely allows them to be more productive. Interestingly, recent research shows that not everyone feels as productive working from their home as they do with an office setup.

Instead, remote employees find themselves more productive working from a coworking space rather than at home. A report found that 45 percent of employees rate their productivity as excellent when working out of a coworking space.

This may be due to:

  • Increased flexibility within a focused environment
  • More autonomy
  • Convenient due to amenities and perks
  • Separating work from life at home

Coworking FAQ 2: what are the other benefits of investing in a coworking space?

Aside from increased productivity, coworking spaces can offer some other great benefits. One example is that coworking spots, like The Post, foster a strong sense of community by hosting regular seminars and networking events.

They create an opportunity for you to build relationships with industry professionals and potential mentors so you can feel supported in your career. They also provide an opportunity for you to form new friendships.

A study found that the social interactions that come from coworking spaces specifically are crucial to fueling workplace productivity.

Some other important benefits of working from a flexible office space include:

  • Amenities like complimentary coffee and snacks to keep you fueled throughout the day
  • A reliable, secure internet connection that does not cut out
  • Stability by having everything you need in one place
  • Excellent concierge service to make sure you’re always comfortable and happy
  • Plenty of office supplies like printing or offering shipping services for office supplies
  • Membership-specific access to networking events and/or discounts to seminars and conferences
  • Some spots offer travel-friendly amenities like showers, luggage lockers, and nap pods!

The Post Coworking FAQs

The Post was created intentionally to help boost productivity for our members while also allowing for human connection and convenience. If you’re curious about our space, we’ve gone ahead and answered common questions that may be lingering in your mind!

Question 1: how secure is the space at The Post?

Our doors to the space are on a keyless access control system that allows our members to come and go from our space using an app on their phones. Our doors always remain locked. Additionally, we have camera monitoring throughout the common areas.

Question 2: what are your hours of operation?

We are open and staffed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. We are closed on the weekends and all federal holidays. All our Private Office and Dedicated Desk members have 24/7 access to the space.

Question 3: what kind of events or networking opportunities are available to The Post members?

The Post Workspaces are proud members of the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce. All of our members have discounted access to all chamber events and mixers. We hold monthly breakfasts where our members can come to grab a bite and catch up with one another.

In addition to those mixers, we hold bi-monthly luncheons where we introduce new members as well as share news and announcements. We are also open to hosting lunch and learns or evening events for any member who has something to offer or share with the community.

We invite these opportunities for connection and learning so our members can thrive and get the most out of their membership at The Post. Examples of past events include Entrepreneur Masterminds and a professional vision board strategy session with Ryan Lambert of Three Buckets Wealth Management—all of which our members loved and found invaluable.

Question 4: do you have a reliable internet connection?

We do! We have 1 GB of wireless internet available to all members and guests. We also offer the ability to connect via ethernet in all the offices.

Question 5: what are the lengths of the agreements, and what is your cancellation policy?

All of our memberships are on a 12-month agreement but can be canceled with a 30-day notice. Our Private Office and Dedicated Desks are all on a 12-month lease (here’s how to create an organized workspace to get the most out of your The Post office space). We do offer a short-term lease period of 6 months with a 10 percent surcharge. That additional fee can be waived if the lease is paid in full by the first day of the term.
