More than just the month of love, there are tons of fun things to do in Tucson this February. 

From celebrating Lunar New Year or Valentine’s Day, to enjoying family time at the annual Rodeo Days and Parade, to exploring local art, quilt, and wine festivals, there are tons of fun things to do around Tucson in February 2024. 

Here are 13 event ideas to add to your social calendar. 

1. Tubac Festival of the Arts

Date and Time: February 7-11, 2024

Location: Various locations throughout the Village of Tubac; tour busses and golf carts available to get around

Cost: Free

What’s going on: This Festival of the Arts is Southern Arizona’s longest-running art festival and features over 200 fine artists, jewelry, and grafts. You can also enjoy live music, horse-drawn trolley rides, and festival eateries. 

2. Chicago

Location: Centennial Hall, 1020 E. University Boulevard

Cost: Tickets start at $40.00

What’s going on: Come out and experience the magic of Broadway right here in Tucson. Chicago is one of the most popular musicals on Broadway with show-stopping songs, amazing dancing, and fabulous costumes. 

3. Lunar New Year Gala

Date and Time: February 10, 2024

Location: Tucson Chinese Cultural Center (TCCC), 1288 W. River Road

Cost: Tickets are $180.00 ($70.00 is a tax-deductible donation benefitting TCCC)

What’s going on: Celebrate the Year of the Dragon at the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center. This fundraiser gala benefits the TCCC and features a Chinese dinner, lion dance, performances, and a silent auction. 

4. Cruise, BBQ & Blues Car Show

Location: Oro Valley Marketplace, 12155 N Oracle Road

Cost: $5.00 admission at the door

What’s going on: This Classic Car Show brings out thousands of people to enjoy live oldies music, great food, and—of course—classic cars. Awards will be given in Best of Show, Best Interior, People’s Choice, and more. 

5. Tucson’s Cupid’s Pub Crawl

Date and Time: February 10, 2024 from 4:30 p.m.

Location: Various locations in Downtown Tucson

Cost: Tickets start at $15.00 plus the cost of drinks

What’s going on: Dress in your best heart-inspired gear and have fun with Valentine-themed activities during this festive bar crawl throughout the city. It’s a great way to celebrate the season with your partner or friends!

6. Dave & Buster’s Valentine’s Day Special

Date and Time: February 14 at 6:00 p.m.

Location: Dave & Buster’s Tucson, 1390 E Tucson Marketplace Boulevard

Cost: $110.00 for two people. 

What’s going on: Have some fun with your Player 2 this Valentine’s Day! Ticket includes a 3-course meal, a free couple dance lesson, and 2 power cards with 125 chips each to try your hands at a wide variety of fun arcade games. 

7. Music in the Mountains: Vinyl Grooves

Location: Catalina State Park

Cost: $7.00/vehicle for parking

What’s going on: Experience some great music in a stunning natural setting. The Vinyl Grooves is a five-piece band with go-go dancers who perform a medley of hits from the 60s and 70s. 

8. Off the Vine Festival and Wine Tasting

Date and Time: February 17, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Location: Kallista Park at Medella Vina Ranch, 4450 S. Houghton Road

Cost: Tickets are $35.00 in advance and $45.00 at the door

What’s going on: Find your new favorite wine at this tasting event that features 25 of Arizona’s finest vineyards and wineries. Sip on a wide variety of options while listening to live music or checking out the food trucks and artisans. 

9. Tucson Rodeo Days

Date and Time: February 17 – 24, 2024

Location: Tucson Rodeo Grounds, 4823 S. 6th Ave.

What’s going on: La Fiesta de los Vaqueros Tucson Rodeo is one of the top 25 pro rodeos in the United States since 1925. Tucson Rodeo Grounds will be hosting the 99th annual Tucson Rodeo which will include exciting family entertainment you won’t want to miss!

10. Tucson Rodeo Parade

Location: New route for 2024; check the website for updates

Cost: Attendance is Free; Grandstand Tickets: $10 to $12 per person

What’s going on: Known as the largest non-motorized parade in the country, the Tucson Rodeo Parades is a proud tradition dating back to 1925. Bring out your family and enjoy this colorful and exciting event. 

11. Quilt Fiesta!

Date and Time: February 23-25, 2024

Location: Pima County Fairgrounds, Old Pueblo Hall, 11300 S Houghton Road

Cost: $10 per day or $20 for a 3-day pass

What’s going on: Calling all quilters! Spark your creativity at this unique event, which has hundreds of unique quilts, a charity sale, vendors, product demos, food and coffee, and so much more. 

12. Tucson Bicycle Classic

Cost: Men Pro/1 & Women Pro 1/2 are $185; all other categories $155; Juniors (13-18) $65

What’s going on: This three-day USA Cycling stage race is the perfect challenge for all bikers. It includes a timed trial on Friday, a road race on Saturday morning, and a circuit race on Sunday. 

13. Cirque du Soleil Crystal

Date and Time: February 29-March 3

Location: Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave

What’s going on: Crystal is a one-of-a-kind production that brings the circus arts to the ice for the first time. With seven jaw-dropping traditional circus acts adapted to a new territory, the ice, this show will be one to remember.
